How we verify
The receipts are the product. Here's exactly how we build them, what we won't claim, and how we could be wrong.
The one-record rule
Every product on this site has one inspection record that joins six things: the claim (what the brand promises in ads and on the page), the label (what's actually in the bottle and at what dose), the study (what the evidence shows at that dose, if it exists), the safety (interactions and flags), and the cost (real per-day and per-month price, subscription included). Facts live in one place; pages read that place, never retype it.
What we require before we claim an effect
- Every effect claim cites a study that matches the dose, population, and outcome — not just the same ingredient name.
- An extract is only comparable as its exact standardized identity (e.g. 600 mg KSM-66, not "ashwagandha").
- If the evidence doesn't match the bottle, we say so — that's a feature, not a bug.
- If no study exists, we call it "no relevant study found," and we don't let a marketing claim fill the gap.
What we never do
- No "cures," "treats," "stops hot flashes," "natural HRT," or any disease claim — those are unsafe regardless of framing.
- No invented sources, numbers, or dates. A gap in the evidence is a gap we name, not a number we guess.
- We don't take the products or report "we tried this" — this is a label + evidence read, not a personal testimonial.
- We don't give individualized dose, duration, or treatment direction. We inform; a clinician decides for you.
Money, disclosed
Affiliate links on this site earn a commission. That never decides a rank or a verdict, and it never appears before the negative case. The disclosure sits beside the link. You can always read any page for free and visit the product anywhere you like.
How we could be wrong
Labels change, prices change, programs change, and research moves. We date every record and we update when we catch a drift. Where we're uncertain, we say "uncertain." Treat any single review as a snapshot, not a lifetime verdict.
Sources & corrections
Every claim carries its source. To flag something or ask for a correction, use the contact link. We log corrections and we keep the record honest.
